    Right from the start it seemed like creating a central place to keep useful links and information about mentoring was a good idea. However, as someone who had just come through the early stages of the pandemic where every day my inbox was overloaded with links and new websites, I did not want my e-portfolio to be just another dumping ground for links that I would rarely re-visit or never use.      So I tried to go carefully. I tried to only put in things that inspired me, like the shared foundations in the AASL Standards, or things that were new to me, like the Danielson Framework documents, or things that I thought would be most useful to a new librarian in this time, like the documents about what other schools and librarians are doing during the pandemic.      Some things aren't in the e .portfolio that might be surprising for their absence.     I had the privilege of being paired with Kelly Ahlfeld for our learning-focused conversation. It was a very encouraging experience.     We decided to use the problem-solving conversation template from Lipton (p.32), which turned out to be an effective way to get things started. All Kelly had to say was, "What are some concerns you would like to discuss?" and we were off and running.     I outlined my concerns about being able to get books in students' hand this fall and how to make sure that all students have equal access to materials. After paraphrasing my issues and confirming that she had some of the same worries, Kelly suggested using a recent VSLA document as a third point to guide our discussion.
